Kent & Sussex D&D and RPG Club: Tabletop games, epic adventures and cake!
Welcome to the Kent & Sussex Dungeons & Dragons and RPG Club. For more than a decade we’ve been bringing fans of tabletop role playing games together every week for goblins and giggles.
Whether you’re new to roleplaying, or a wizened old dwarf celebrating their nine hundred and thirtieth birthday, join us; Monday 7-10pm at Ticehurst Village Hall. We all chip in £2.50 each week to cover the cost of the hall (and website) but your first session is free.

A Place That Feels Like Home
We wanted to make a space where everyone feels they fit it, with the possible exception of trolls (we bashes trolls). Whether you’re a first-time player or a veteran DM, whatever you look like or however you’re wired you’ll be very welcome. The only quality we require is kindness.x

Calendar
Check the calendar to see what is on. We aim to switch campaigns every three months, especially on the non D&D table.

We Don’t Just Play D&D!
To be fair we do play quite a lot of D&D and there’s normally a choice of campaigns. However, we also play other RPGs and we have an ‘anything but D&D’ table each week. There are currently four campaigns running:

Table One
Horizons of Arcuin
Horizons of Arcuin is an adaptation of classic 3rd edition adventures updated to 5e for this world.

Table Two
Out of the Abyss
Deep in the Underdark, a motley group of adventurers lead a prison break and begin the long journey back to the surface.

Table Three
The Waters of the Vanquished Sun – LexOccultum
The year is 1715. Great Britain has a new, German monarch and Edmond Halley has published a broadside to persuade the people that an upcoming eclipse is scientifically predictable event and not a dark portent for the Hanoverian dynasty.

What We’ve Been Playing
These are some of the campaigns that are currently paused pending their return. The more people want to play a system the more likely it is to get played.

Find Us
We meet every Monday at 7pm and Ticehurst Village Hall
Baking
Some people insist on baking cakes – why I don’t know, but I am not going to stop them – Dave the Hat is our star baker but others pitch in. If you like baking (savoury things also wonderful) we won’t say no. (We will probably say ‘nom nom nom’.)
Want to DM?
Our DMs vary hugely in age and experience so don’t be shy. We’re expanding and looking to start a fifth table. Bring your ideas. Tell your friends even.

FAQs
Find answers to your most pressing questions about our club and events.
How do I join?
You don’t need to join. We don’t have membership fees. We just chip in to cover the cost of the hall and other expenses on evenings when we play. However if you’re able to let us know if you’re coming for the first time that can help.
Can I just turn up
Yes, you can just turn up. If you’re new then getting in touch in advance allows us to find out what sort of game you’re looking for and letting the GM know they may have an extra player.
Are there age restrictions?
No. We have players in their teens and in their sixties. We do prefer if players under sixteen can be accompanied by an irresponsible adult.
How often does the club meet?
We meet almost every Monday evening of the year. We tend to skip Christmas and on bank holidays some tables don’t run and others don’t. Best check on the calendar or the chat if in doubt.
Can I join the table chats?
Yes, once you’ve come in person and have joined a table.
Can I bring friends?
Yes please. If there are going to be several of you it does help to know in advance so we can best accommodate you all.
How do I get in touch
Just drop us a line at adventure@kent-sussex-dungeons-dragons.uk and one of us will get back to you as soon as possible. If you’re in a hurry just turn up at 7pm on a Monday and say hi. Also check our Facebook page and the calendar.
