Deep in the Underdark, a motley group of adventurers lead a prison break and begin the long journey back to the surface. Staying only a few steps ahead of their erstwhile Drow captors they explore the strange, often deadly cities of the Underdark, meeting pizza-loving goblins, the great red dragon Themberchaud and a friendly gelatinous cube along the way.
But ancient horrors stir. Barely escaping with their lives, they witness the rise of the Demogorgon – Prince of Demons – from the waters of the Dark Lake, soon discovering that it is not just one Demon Lord on the loose but many….
